Wildlife Tracking for Backcountry Skiers - 7 pm Wednesday February 15th 2012 - Canmore Seniors Center, 600 9th Street, Canmore
Ever wondered what those beautiful fresh tracks are when you're out backcountry skiing or on the nordic trails? We are very excited to have Simon Ham, a renowned Parks Canada tracking expert, coming to show how to recognize the wildlife that is all around us in the backcountry, and to understand the stories that those tracks are telling us.
Vsion Climbing on Thursdays

The RMS now has Thursday climbing at the Vsion gym. Members can sign up for either an afternoon session (1 -4 pm) OR an evening session (6-11 pm). Sorry, not both!
Members still need to contact the designated leader on the climbing schedule to sign up. Max : 10 participants total in both sessions.

Ray Norman Memorial Fund
A new RMS fund has been established in the memory of long time ACC member, Ray Norman. This fund is open to all RMS members who want to take an avalanche training course. It is intended to provide funding for members who want to improve their skills in the area of avalanche awareness.
