Two more 2018 Summer courses: Introduction to Outdoor Climbing and Anchors & Rope Management Clinic.

Our Introduction to Outdoor Climbing is a 2-day program is designed to introduce indoor climbers to the great outdoors.

Our Anchor & Rope Management Clinic will include review, practice, and discussion of anchor construction and rope management options for experienced multi-pitch rock climbers.

Our latest offering - RMS Summer Leadership Skills: Snow & Ice will take new and aspiring alpine leaders out on steep snow and ice to give them the skills and confidence they need to excel at summer alpine leaders.  This course is aimed at current Rocky Mountain Section trip leaders that are looking to graduate to bigger and more exciting terrain!

Sunday, June 10 6 PM at the Canmore clubhouse - annual section barbecue

Come join your fellow section members on the deck at the Canmore ACC clubhouse on Sunday, June 10th at 1800. Free for members, five dollars for guests. We will have some barbecue chopped up small animals for you omnivores and veggie burgers for the more in lightened among us.  See you there!
