Avalanche safety

• Avalanche Encyclopedia : definitions of all avalanche related terms you can find in avalanche bulletins.
• Avalanche incident report tool : Canadian Avalanche Centre online tool for you to report any avalanche activity/incident of general interest.
• Recent avalanche incident info : Canadian Avalanche Centre up to date avalanche incidents reports
• Free online avalanche course : Canadian Avalanche Association Avalanche First Response Training course. French version available.
• Avalanche accidents in Canada Vol.4: 1984-1996 : Canadian Avalanche Association general analysis of trends and factors causing avalanches, based on investigations into reports of serious avalanche incidents.

Maps and topos

• Peak Finder : your source of information on the peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Comprehensive information and photos about each of the 1560 mountains in the Canadian Rockies. Biographies of over 100 individuals who are part of the history of the Canadian Rockies.
