Winter is here!  Time to dust of those ski boots and ice tools... and get reacquainted with your avalanche safety equipment.

Kevin Hjertaas will lead a Companion Rescue Skills session on November 24th - registration is now open, so head on over to the Courses section of the website to secure your spot.

And if you haven't already, take a look at the rest of our offerings - courses are filling up fast!

Two new courses aimed at our Section Trip Leaders have just been posted: a new, 2-day RMS Ice Leadership program (Dec 8-9), and our 3-day RMS Ski Leadership course (Jan 18-20).

These will both be run by IFMGA/ACMG Mountain Guide, Jeff Bullock, and are field-based courses focused specifically on developing critical skills and decision-making on real-life objectives.  Participants in both of these programs will get plenty of opportunity to take the lead and practice their evaluation of the conditions and terrain!

All of courses are taught by certified ACMG guides - starting from just 20 bucks!

Our website will be undergoing maintenance this weekend as we move to a new server.  If you are unable to access the site over the weekend, please wait a couple of hours and try again.  The site should be up and running again by the end of the weekend.

Our Avalanche Skills Training 1, Dec 1-2, is open for registration.

More great courses are on their way soon!
